AUM Spotlight - Episode 22
We are delighted to share Episode 22 of the “AUM Spotlight” Series celebrating the achievements of our AUM Academic and Administrative members.
We are honoured to announce that Dr. Ahmad AlDaraiseh and Dr. Yousef Sanjalawe have achieved exceptional advancement in cryptography. They've developed a new efficient random number generator called the State-Based Tent-Map (SBTM). This innovative method addresses limitations of existing chaotic-based generators, producing highly secure and statistically robust sequences crucial for cryptographic applications.
SBTM surpasses traditional methods by utilizing a modified Tent-Map to generate exceptional keystreams. Rigorous testing confirmed its effectiveness, with nearly 98% of randomness tests passing – a testament to its ability to produce reliable and secure random numbers! This achievement has the potential to significantly improve encryption and security protocols. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting development!
SBTM's exceptional performance has been recognized, receiving patent approval in Germany. This promising technology is already being incorporated into three novel ciphers, all currently under review. This paves the way for even more secure encryption methods in the future.
